I had a relationship and became pregnant. The guy tht got me pregnant never denied tht my child was his i went thru my pregnancy alone wout the help or support of this person he told me he would be there for my son tht we would go out and buy clothing and whatever my son needed before he was born tht he would acknowledge paternity give him his last name but he did nothing. The day tht i left to the hospital i called to tell him tht i was in labor asked him if he was coming to the hospital to acknowledege him he never said no al he would say was later tomorrow i will do it, and he never acknowledged him as his child. I filed for child support since he had his lastname as i was stupid enough to believe he would acknowledege his paternity later thy called him to the local child support a few times to go sign his acknowledgement he never went just make excuses then after many times thy called him to court with a judge to settle hus paternity and child support and he did not show up because of the woman tht he was dating i assume he wanted to impress her so a year later he comes back with lies asking to give him another chance and. Now he asks to see my child after he has not seen him for more thn a year and every time he would ask me he would never show up to get my son he has 2 other kids w his first wife and i believe he has another woman pregnant now and thts why he came back w lies to try to get me now tht this other lady is pregnant...... i dont want and i wiill not fall for his stupid games again but i need some advise about my child and allowing this person in my childs life i dont want my child to get hurt by this person deep inside i know hedoes not care for him

He is the child's biological father, so you don't have the right to deny them a relationship.

Pin him down on paternity and support, and ask for supervised visits initially, until a bond is formed.
