If she's eating because kids at school are making fun of her, then that is a mental problem (low self-esteem), and can lead to very serious health problems. She should be in counseling to learn how to ignore stupid bullies, and not give in to peer pressure.

Farah, we are waiting for details. The more you can share the better we can help. My kids are aged 12, 14, 17 and 19. All of them have robust appetites but live very active lives. Unless she is overweight, why would you be concerned?

That's how my daughter was and I sat her down and ask why she is doing this and she said people at her school said she was too small. Maybe that's a reason at school?

Sounds about right for all of my kids. My almost 8 year old son out eats me (not too hard to do) at every meal and eats multiple snacks a day... and he's gained 1.5 pounds in a year (technically 3.5 pounds cuz at one point he lost weight when he was sick).

If you have concerns about her possibly overeating or weight gain the best place to address them is at your child's doctor. You can monitor the types of food that she consumes between meals and if you think she might not really be hungry you can offer a cup of water and ask her to wait 30 minutes to make sure she was really hungry instead of thirsty... but active, growing kids need lots of fuel (food) to keep active and growing.

You really need to explain what you want help with.
Is your daughter overweight? Is her doctor concerned? Have you even been to the doctor?
If you are EVER concerned about your child's health you should always see your doctor rather than asking a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Is she gaining an unhealthy amount of weight? Is it crap food? Is it just too expensive/too much food prep?
Around that age, girls eat more. Big changes coming up.
