Do not feel stupid about asking this. Its normal for there to be less movement as baby grows a lot during the last couple of months before birth. They loose a lot of room to move around in because they are stuffed in you with all those organs that had go move for the baby to grow and there is not much more room left to move in. If you have big concerns go see your doctor. Ask for an ultrasound. It might help relieve your worries. I know that when I got to the end of my time with my son, he moved a lot less but he loved the right side of my body to lay on. I was so uncomfortable because I could not sleep on my side anymore. Once I laid flat on the bed and exposed my stomach area....the right side was a big bluge of a baby and the left was flat as a pancake...it wars weird. But again, babies do loose room towards the end because they get bigger and there is all that other stuff we have inside us to contend with as well. As long as the heart rate is fine and so on, I am sure the baby is fine. Just talk to your doctor. I hope this helped.

Its okay with this being I assume the first baby and all. Some things are scary when you do not know what to expect. Just take care.
