I had a strange episode today, anyone expierience this in pregnancy?

[deleted account] ( 13 moms have responded )

I'm in the 30th week of pregnancy. All of a sudden I got really nauseated, my heart started racing, my cheeks turned bright red. I tried lying down and it got worse. Drinking water helped, but my cheeks are still bright red, and now I have a headache. ( I live in Germany and all Dr.s are unavailable unless I go to the Er, so I though I'd ask here for some opinions on this.) I generally have low blood pressure.

sounds to me like low blood sugar adn you needed to eat. especially with the nauseated and heart racing. I do think that happened to me around that week. Just make sure you have food with you!! Do you have diabetis?

That happened to me too and my doc told me it was normal as lomg as I didn't start passing out. I thought I was having a heart attack! They told me just to drink plenty of water! Hope this helps a little!

Nope I was sitting contently, easily, feeding my 21 month old when it started.  I have never suffered any type of panic situation.

Sounds like your sugar dropped. This happened to me while I was doing yard work during my first trimester. I drank some orange juice and had a small peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I felt back to normal in 10 minutes. Hope all is well!

i got the same thing all thru my pregnancies (including the ones i lost early) as far as the docs here can work out its a combination of three things

gestational diabetes that refuses to allow me to manage it, low blood preasure and severe anemia

i find generally squat down but your head against something and have something sugary or freezing cold... if it doesnt pass shortly i just end up laying around for up to two hours when it finally decides to go

High blood pressure can make you feel really strange. Check it out with your Doctor anyway just to be on the safe side. Hope all goes well in your pregnancy. Take care of yourself

It may be to do with your blood pressure then or maybe you are abit anemic. I became anemic towards the end of my pregnancy and had funny episodes like that.

Sounds a bit like a panic attack to me, are you more stressed than usual?
