I was worried it was ftom stress or seperation anxiety from going to daycare on weekdays. From friday night till mondaymmorning she just doesn't want to sleep she just wants ti play with mommy and daddy and snuggle up on my chest (kangaroo care) or nestle up next to me she loves plying and laughing in our big bed. At nite I probably like most moms even with a baby monitor I must go in her room and just peek in not disturbing her to check on her and watch her sleep. Shes so beautiful and amazing and our everything im trying actually ee r trying to make it financially possible for her only to go to daycare for half days were a young low income family with subsidized daycare. But in today's economy in order to have a family u have to work really hard putting the kids first with the basics and put everything on the back burning but everything will work out as long as the baby has everything she needs and us who love her so much and a clean safe environment , then wel be ok untill we can afford for me to be a full time stay at home mom or her be done school by noon... thank u for ur response my other daughter scratched as an ity bity newborn but not after a she was a month old.

Many babies do this as a way to soothe distress when they are upset or tired. My son is 10 months and does this as well. Keeping nails trimmed and trying to put him to sleep before he gets overly tired helps.
