I have 3 kids under the age of 5years,and am 29years of age. I am sick of people judging me for choosing to be a stay-at-home mum to my 3 little ones. Apparently, mothers my age, all work I keep being told..I think I have made a great choice as I enjoy my kids every bit.

I have 3 kids under the age of 5years and I am 29years of age. I am totally sick of people judging me for my age and the fact that I have chosen to be a full time mum to my 3 little ones. As if that is an easy job! I have 2 kindy drop offs 3 times a week, we have mainly music every wednesday which we attend every week. we also have playgroup which we do on monday. The kids and I's week is pretty full on. I have no family in NZ, but this has not stopped the kids and I from enjoying our lives and making the most of whatever we have, as far as entertainment and social interactions are concerned.I have great satisfaction in what the kids and I do, and I totally disagree with people who call me a 'no life'.I happen to be very content and happy with my 3 beautiful girls, and I will continue to be a great mum to them.To be honest, trying to enjoy my kids at this age sometimes proves to be quite hard, as I am constantly bombarded with negative comments. I have become a very prayerful person as this has pulled me through some very trying times. I never really appreciated my family until I reached this stage in my life. Family is very important and having them around, can make a huge difference in a young mothers life. Here's to a long enjoyable life with my 3 angels:))

Hi Penny. I live in Australia. Yeah it sucks feeling judged. But excuse the french but F*** them. Don't worry about what others think it's none of their business you're doing what is right for you and your kids. You go to work when you're good and ready. I have a 1 and 2 year old. I've looked at jobs but most have been over 7 roster which makes it hard for me. I am studying in the meantime so when the time is right hopefully I'll have some qualifications behind me. Good on ya mum for doing what is right for you and your family and don't worry about others. I'd just say sure I'll go work you stay home with kids. Feed them, cloths them, bathe them, teach them take them to their acivities get them to bed at a decent hour lol. Honestly people who talk to you like that aren't worth worrying about. They're certainly not real friends. Don't worry about their judgements.
