no i cant put him in his crib. he is to big for it and as for putting up a baby gate i dont think that would work as i have a kitten and he can get the baby gates off....(smart little fart haha) and i have bein letting him kick nad scream and that usuually goes on for two hours.. but latley he seem sto have stopped the kicking but still screams but stays in bed... which i can live with ... thank you for all the advice and help tho really appericated :)

I would remove the door from its hinges and put in a baby gate - just remove the object of the agression from the situation. As far as sleeping on the floor, if he sleeps ok there, leave him there. He will eventually figure out his bed is more comfortable. I would also try completely ignoring both things - the kicking and the sleeping on the floor. Toddlers will continue a behaviour that gets a reaction, be that reaction good or bad.

Can you put him back in the crib? If not, I guess I'd say leave him on the floor if that's where he wants to sleep.

My daughter does the exact same thing it is unfortunately just a phase and he will eventually out grow it. We let her fall asleep on the floor and go in and put her back in her bed when we get ready for bed.
