I don't know that there's a right answer here. I mean, I'm 37 and still don't sleep through the night!

Every baby is different. And I guess it depends on what you consider "sleeping through". Just remember their tummies are very small and they need to be fed regularly. Every 3 hours is pretty normal. If you have one that sleeps for 5-6 hours, you are blessed. Some babies are still not sleeping through the night when they are 12 months old.

I had two that could sleep 12 hour nights at 6 months... that only lasted for a little while and then no more sleeping through til just over a year.

Then I had one who only slept through the night (10-11 hours) a half a dozen random times until he turned 2.

It really depends on the kid. You will hear some moms say that their baby was sleeping through the night at the beginning.... and my best friend's mom tells of how none of her kids slept through the night until they were 5... and her kids are all 5 years apart. lol

I'm 36 and not capable of sleeping through the night. I wake 2-5 times... NO FUN!

My baby is 9 months and he has only slept through the time a rare hand-full of times.
