i have been giving my twins water with honey now they refuse to drink their milk they just want water, what should i do?

Stop giving them water w/ honey. If they are under 12 months... they only get their milk... period. If they are over 12 months they are only offered milk at meals and snacks... and only offered plain water when they are thirsty and not having milk.

Like the others have said.
You NEVER need to add anything to water!!!! All that does is encourage your children to only want sweet things. Stop the honey and just keep offering their milk. Even when they are over 1, don't put anything in the water.

According to Parents.com, a baby should not have honey because it causes, "it may contain spores of bacteria that can cause botulism. This doesn't mean our honey supply is contaminated -- these bacteria are harmless to adults and children over 1. But it can make babies, whose digestive and immune systems are less developed, seriously (and possibly fatally) sick." So if your twins are under the age of one year, you are therefore taking chances of making them sick and this can even cause death.
