I have been on two different birth controls for a total period of five years, the depo shot for three years and the mirena for two... I have been off of birth control since march 2012... but I still can't seem to get pregnant?? my husband wants me to go to the doctors to see if I can stool get pregnant, mind you I'm in my early twenties. I'm just nervous to go.. any advice??

Stop "trying" and just have fun. Unless you have been trying for over a year most doctors won't do many tests. Some things you can do to increase your chances of falling pregnant is to know when you ovulate, take pregnancy vitamins and folate now and cut out alcohol, cigarettes, etc.

Maybe invest in an ovulation kit so you will know when the best time to conceive will be. Not everyone is right in the middles of their cycle. I conceived my daughter 2 day after I finished my period.

Hi, Sorry its seems to be taking so long. Michelle is right though. Don't let it take controll of your life & try an ovulation kit.

I concieved all 3 of mine within 2 days of finishing my period too :)

Good luck
