I have child who is very challenged he has cerebral palsy and Static encephalopathy basically he is 10 with the brain function of a 5 to 6 years old. The school he is in keeps aending home riduclouse claims like him flipping his teacher off an I can say for sure he didnt because he does not have enough muscle control in his hand to hold his fingers down and one up. my point being is that they keep writting hm up for slly stupid stuff and he is in a special needs class they are holding him to a standard of a child who is of his age. my question is can i force the school to hire me as his para so that i can keep him under control of am i going to have to pull him out and homeschool him. the wright ups are crazy and make him sound violent where he is not. I am tired of feeling like they are not doing thier best.

You need to have a conversation with your child's caseworker/ manager. If you do not havea caseworker, get one! They can go into the school, help you set up a team meeting (which sounds like there shoud be one), can be there with you during this meeting. The caseworker/mananger will be an advocate for you and your child. good luck!
