I have punished my son by removing his door giving him no privacy and also removing all furniture including his bed from his room leaving him with only a pillow and blanket, he has been living like this for a week now, he is still continuing to misbehave how can i further punish my son from here?

Hi there! Have you spoke with your son about what is going on? I have often said parenting is the hardest job I've ever had and it's so true. It is a lot of trial and error. It's hard to gauge how to encourage and give advice on how I might discipline if I had my kiddo doing the same behavior. I am no expert, but I have found that reading every parenting book I can get my hands on has been helpful. One is called Have a New Kid By Friday. The author covers many issues and give examples of how you approach each situation. It's very informative and it could perhaps give you a better answer than I can. One of my biggest take homes is that everyone in the family had there part and we all need to do our part to have our home function in a healthy and happy way. Also to allow the natural consequence in life sink in. Ex: If you go to church and your kid is old enough to stay home and protests to do so, don't make a fuss.......go to church, enjoy yourself, enjoy after church shopping and lunch. When you don't hurry back the natural consequence will be that they missed out. They'll wonder where you were the whole time and what you were doing. Always stay cool and collective. Lead with love and respect. I hope this helps and you find exactly what you need. God bless!
