6 months ago i got very sick with my diabetes i was in a coma for a week. now the whole time that i had my daughter with me i took care of her what she needed and everything. was never judged to be an unfit mother. i just got sick. well now since 2009 to 2013 i have had my daughter with me the father never helped with support for her. never really came around untill it was the right time for him and i dont think that is right.because why give up hope for my daughter to be involved with her daddy if its just for his personal needs. well now that i'm better i have that right to go back to court to modify custody of my daughter since the whole 6 months he has not gotten her any medical insurance and has not gotten her immunization shots up to date. she comes to my house every other week with lice in her head. my and husband and i treat it and we notify her father of it and all he says is he doesnt no where it is coming from. but before we started having visitation in our with my child we'd visit my daughter at her daddy's house. during this time frame i was seeing the lice there to and they thought that it was ashes from cigarrette in her head. but it was lice eggs. they never treat her head. we are the only ones that are treating it. my daughter lives in georgia with her father. her father lives with her mom grandma and stepdaddy and in the state of georgia a girl child must have a room for herself and not be sleeping in the same room as her father and same bed. she sleeps in a room with her father and grand father. that's not right either. i thought at the time that he got custody of her because i voluntairly did it that he would step up and do the right thing for my daughter but this whole time he's looking for everyone else to take care of her needs and him do nothing. he's got his grandma buying things for her that she needs and that's not right either. he doesnt have no income for himself to support her. i dont think i voluntairly did the right thing for my daughter what do i need to do to modify custody of the court for my daughter. and her needs. i have a recording of where he told me in front of my child that if i went to change custody of her then he would make hell and that he has power of attorney over her that he can make to where i have no say so in what goes on with my daughter or he can make to where i dont get any rights to her and not to see her again. what do i do?

Well that's good. You left that part out. I think I'd listen to the judge over listening to your ex... or any random woman on the internet. A lawyer would still be a good idea though.

Get a lawyer. If you voluntarily gave him custody it may be very, very difficult to change that. You need a lawyer to help you.
