My 2 year old son is obviously so much more tough than my 5 year old son . My 5 year cries almost for everything. How do I make my 5 year old feel more rugget and tough?

Honestly, i don't think you really need to do anything. That is his personality. It does not need to change simply because the younger child is more rugged. My son is on the sensitive side, he is almost 7. My daughter who is almost 3 is much tougher than him. I love them both. They are wonderful children, and I have no need to change who they are.

How about you just let the kid be himself and love him for who he is.

And, just remember...your ex is your ex for a reason. When he says that line of bullshit to you, you know what you can say? Why don't you be a great male role model for him and see your only son more often. Fucker.

I must admit I felt peer pressure from my ex husband to kinda guide our son into being somewhat tougher. Since my two older children are girls and his always around them, he thought he needed to be exposed to guy stuff . He felt he was surrounded by to much cheering and dancing form my girls. Needless to say his father is not around much other than the two days out of the month he takes them over . Like you said that is his personality it just sadness me when he makes that "His tougher but I'm bigger !" comment. For a moment there I thought I should help my little guy out , but I see there is absolutely nothing wrong with my son. Each of my four children are unique in their own way and I shall allow them to be just as they are. Thank you again for your point of view.
