Hello all! I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second boy and I really don't feel him moving around much. I'm so worried, I just want him born healthy! Is this normal? Any ideas?

To Sarah e & everyone who was nice enough to reply, my little Angel baby boy is perfect! The Dr he looks perfect. I can't feel a lot of movement, I have a anterior placenta. I should feel more in a few weeks. My cervix is 2.8, my BP is high so they'll be monitoring me close. So bed rest for 10 more days and it's back to work light duty

I didn't feel second baby move that much either. But, if you're really get a little worried or like I did "paranoid," then there's app with the smart phone to hear your baby's heart beat on those occasions that you just want to check to see if he's okay. If that helps ease your "anxiety" (lack of a better word), than buy it.

DORIS- Mia has a history of pregnancy loss, so any advice about exercise should come from her doctor.

It is pretty early in your pregnancy to feel the baby move yet. Also, if your placenta is placed at the front (by your belly button or lower) it can actually cushion the babies movement so you may not feel them as soon as others can. Good luck love!

Thank you, recovering from the loss of my girls was very hard. I am deeply sympathetic to any parent (male or female) who has lost a child at any stage. Thank you very much for your kind words and I look forward to your pregnancy! Can't wait to hear the good (fingers and toes crossed) news! If you need to PM me, feel free!

Oh Mia, those days long gone for me! My kids are 18, 16, 13 and 11. I spent many years in labor and delivery as a nurse so I know how scary it can be for mother of infant death. I myself lost twins in 2009, they'd be almost 6 now and I wonder about them often...I have you covered in prayer!

Of course, good (hopefully) bad I'd love to share it. The fact that some1 responded to me means more than you know. Besides I'm pretty sure that my worrying is driving my hubby & parents a little nutty. I'm sure their more anxious about the level 2 than I am so they can say "ok you see he's ok,now shut up & enjoy it"!! :-) lol..Lmao

Please do. So often questions about early labor or pregnancy are posted and we don't hear the outcome. Of course, your medical business is private and if you wan to be quiet I respect that too.

I get it, if you've lost babies, you worry. It will take some time and no complications for you to relax. Talk to your family, your partner etc. Try to enjoy the time you have...

I agree with Sarah H. you are still quite early to be feeling much. If you can hear his heartbeat that must be reassuring. Why are you so worried? Some nervousness is typical but you want to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
