I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I don't remember experiencing this in my last pregnancy. One minute in sweating and uncomfortable and the next I'm shivering and putting on a sweatshirt, and its the middle of summer.

Its the hormones, and Im not entirely sure what would help with this, but I will see what I can find. Otherwise you'll probably just have to ride it out, how far along are you? I know one thing, inside of the womb its 90 some degrees in there, which probably adds to it with all that cookin going on in there! hehehe I'll get back to you in a bit.

Yes, during all my pregnancies, and then after birth I would wake up in cold sweats like when you have a high fever because of my hot flashes. SO frustrating and uncomfortable. I sleep on a towel so the sheets don't get too gross every night. The more water you drink, the better you feel, but they don't go away completely (for me anyway) until about a month after birth.

Oh yes, had the same thing with my first, and I'm 31 weeks with my 2nd now. I have a fan in our bedroom, and almost everywhere else in the house. Nothing to help for it I'm afraid, at least not that I'm aware of. My doc said it's pretty much how it is for a lot of women when they are pregnant, and there isn't much to do except try to keep cool with fans or cool showers, etc.

Yes sweety I almost froze my husband out. I made him put a window unit in for just our bedroom. He was use to me cooking for him every day. During that pregnancy I wouldn't go through a stove. It's just hormones I'm not sure if they have developed anything you can use during your pregnancy or not yet. Ask your Dr. It will all level out after the baby is born. Love ya, Tammy
