I'm six weeks pregnant in VA but moving to AL in six months; do I look for both OBs now?

My family was moved to VA temporarily off my husband's job but we'll be transferred to AL in six months. I have a special scar from a previous c-section so I already feel like it'll be difficult to find an OB...let alone one who knows I won't be here full term...Advice, suggestions, experience? I need anything. No clue where to start.

Get you an OB for the time you are here and just let them know you will be moving at some point. No biggie. Then shortly before you move, you can search for another OB. You will be in your 3rd trimester then, so you dont want to wait until you move to get in with a DR. Sometimes, there is a wait to see new patients. Your scar should have no impact on finding an OB...they are experienced, scar or not. Dont stress most of all.

Yes. It's been awhile for me but I am pretty sure you need to see an OB monthly at the very least. Your old OB can transfer your records to the new one.
