Thank-you for your hopeful thoughts. My frustration is our state spends money on foolish things. Hard drugs are on the increase we need to step up manpower. look at the drug wars going on in Mexico. It's getting worse here in the states. These drugs are killing our children.
I just read an article With the amount of drugs available here, people are easily going into suburbs now to sell. Count on them at the corner of your street. I truely wish people would complain more to our leaders.

Drugs are everywhere and there is no getting away from them. But what you can do is get your child who is apparently battling a drug addiction, into a drug rehab program. If you are unsure of where to turn, talk to your treating physician or call your local hospital for a referral. Good luck to you.

I live outside Grand Rapids Michigan. Drugs are everywhere and the attitude that well it's not happening to my children isn't flying anymore. Everyone's at risk now. Where are our enforcements to keep it out of our Country. Everybody needs to say we're not going to take it anymore. All of us need to worry more about drugs than money for a new bridge that governor Snyder wants. I'm getting really disgusted. I'm seeing problems with drugsd everywhere and nobody is keeping it ouit of Michigan or anywhere else. Just wait until it effects someone in your family. Meanwhile nobody complains to our leaders or nobody!!!!!!!!

Thank you Ashie and Sherre...I do live in a small community. I thought I was going to a quiet place to raise my kids and keep them safe. I thought I was teaching my kids to stay away and by my own example. I lost. Drugs won. They are just to easy to get and they are everywhere. They try to tell me it's a disease and that I am powerless over it. Almost everyone I know or meet have this in some part of their lives. I have zero tollerance but when it's your kid, thats another story. You can't leave your kid.

Maybe you could move to a more quieter area? Drugs are always going to be around, they've been around for years, but sometimes a change of scenary may help

i feel the same.think its awful what so many people allow themselves to get into.its quiet sad. Most of the time the end up hurting others in the process. This makes me very angry. Not only are the destroying there lives the have to destroy the innocent lives of others.I guess all we can do as parents is teach our kids to make the right choices in life and how to deal with what the might have to come up against.Good luck.:)

I'm tired of drugs being a part of my life. I myself am not an addict and don't do drugs. It's just they are all around. Kids, husbands, wives, T.V. news. everywhere. In my area on new years a guy drunk and doing coke killed 2 people who were broken down on the road and killed them. Do you realize that most people you come in contact with are on something. Driving, walking, flying whatever. I'm sooooo sick of it.

Drugs should be a last resort option try natural remedies first, find a trusted chiropractor or naturopathic doctor in your area that specializes in kids and mamas
