I'm trying to potty train my 4 year old son?

I'm trying to potty train my 4 year old son...but it seems to me like that he has no interest in using the potty! It's like he will go when he's at preschool but not when he's at home! Just trying to figure out if there's anyways or anything that I can try to get him to go on the toilet at home! I already tried the reward thing but that was not a success! I even tried letting him just sit there and drink liquids. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong for him to not want to use the bathroom! Should I try to teach him standing first or sitting first?

My son potty trained later than my girls. Boys mature differently from girls and I was glad I knew this going into the training phase of his growing up. I found this article and thought I would pass it on.

Every boy is different and I would have no way of knowing what exactly has lead up to this. The child is holding on to his familiar securities so give this some time. Repetition works well and consistency works well. Good luck to you mom!
