Enough. They'll listen to their dad who administers belts plus but nothing I do helps. I'm sick and tired of the attitude and disrespect.

How old are your children? There is no need to administer physical punishment (and in fact, where I live, what their dad is doing would be legally considered abuse). Children respond quite well to removal of privileges, etc, as well as other forms of non-violent discipline. It depends on the child and their interests. But as an example, if my children won't do their chores, I won't do anything for them either (that includes getting them to their extra-curricular activities). They need to earn their way in my house. They have had to do so from a young age. What sort of behaviour are we talking about?
