My daughter will be 4 in February and Her father and I have been seperated since she was 5 months old, lately she has been terrible! It almost feels like shes trying to make me feel bad or something! She wont eat at the dinner table"well I dont have to at my dads house" she wants the radio blaring all the time "well my dad lets me do it" so I finally gave in because I dont want her to hate me or think im the bad parent, I want her to know the rules and be good, but Im stuck? What should i do?

Explain to her that there are different rules in each house and sometimes children need "alone" time when they act like that and disrespect follow through with whatever discipline (time out for 4 minutes) etc.

Your home, your rules. If your kids "hate" you, it probably means you are doing your job! :-) Stick to your guns. Don't let guilt guide your decisions. If she can get away with this at 4, just imagine how out of control it will be by 13! Lindzie gave you some great advice.
