I need help....my son is 5 months old...and is very restless since few weeks now....he is teething but also something must be wrong... He can't sleep at a stretch at nights have become very clingy...puts everything in his mouth... Touches his ear every time...also after every feed or formula milk or cerelac he pressures to pass stool..have tried all teething technique...also giving him gripe water...n traiminic for cough....what to do? Can anyone guide me?

Hey, I went to the doc he told me he is teething so that's one issue and the other he told me to increase his solid food to twice a day rather than once.....he wants solids rather than just milk....so lets see how it goes..thanks for your advice :)

Yes I think you are right.... Because he sleeps better in his carry cot as its incline position... I'll do that...also he had ear infection 3 weeks ago....and he has recovered from that we went for a check up....but I have taken an appointment for today..... Thanks a lot.....

It really sounds like normal teething to me. Please read this about gripe water: http://www.livestrong.com/article/158609... It isn't exactly safe to give. Try Hylands Teething tablets instead. He is way too young for Triaminic! You may be giving him too many things and it's making him worse. Elevate his mattress by placing a rolled up towel under it.



Use a COOL mist humidifier. He may have an ear infection. I would give him infants off brand Tylenol. Check his temp too. Call his doctor asap.
