If its stressing you out its stressing her out and it will take longer. I started just having it in the bathroom for them to explore and sit on while I went then started calmly encouraging them to go and they started to go.

Wait until she's ready. Just take her to the bathroom w/ you, buy her a potty of her own and have it available, take her around kids who have recently potty trained, and let her be. It'll happen when she's ready.

We got a little potty for our daughter, along with her own soap, and the Elmo's potty time DVD (which is now on a CONTINUOUS LOOP for her brother). We also put her in dresses for easier access while training. She went when she was ready and watched Elmo on the potty in the living room until she was :)

two is mighty young - probably too young to understand - this is something you cannot rush or you have more problems...

I can suggest something that worked for both my kids but they didn't start till 2.5 years. They have to be talking to really "get it" and voice what they want. Try getting a little potty at wal mart that comes with stickers, and there is music every time something lands in the potty, LOL. It's kinda cute and funny, and the kids get excited when they get rewarded and it makes them want to go more! Hope that helps :D Think the potty costs about $20.
