My 14 month old started rejecting(throwing up) certain kinds of milks. Such as Vitamin D milk and 2% milk. She'll drink the whole milk, 1% and fat free milks. But when it comes to Vitamin D and 2% it doesn't settle with her and between 2-30 mins latter it comes back up. It hasn't anything to do with the food she's eating. She's not lactose intolerant, because she'll eat straight cheese like it's nobody's business....

Can anyone tell me what's the difference in those milks? I've been told over and over again that the Vitamin D milk is the same as the Whole Milk. Well there has to be something different in it that causes her to get sick, along with the 2% milk....

I already have to go to see the doctors to get a note from them saying that she can't have the Vitamin D Milk. I just wanna be knowledgeable when I go in there so I can have an idea as to what's in those milks and as to what I can tell him about it better.....I just hope that this all makes since to someone..... If it doesn't I'm sorry.

Katherine,
No she not. It's very weird and I've taken her in to see her doctor and he's just as baffled as I am by this. He said that he's going to look more into it and when we go in to see him in a few weeks for her 15 month check-up hopefully he'll have some answers for me. As for right now, I don't even give her those types of milks and her Daycare provider is actually going around the system and offering her both milk and water and she doesn't even touch her milk but goes right for the water. So I'm thankful that they are working with me on that whole issue because they don't want her to get sick by the milk that they have.

It doesn't make sense that she is regurgitating 2 types of milk and not the others. That's actually the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Is she ingesting one faster than the other?
