My two year son throws really bad fits sometimes for no reason at all I really don't know what to do for him it worries me that there might be something wrong with him but he isn't running a fever or anything, the Dr. said it is because of his 2's my first son is 5 and he never acted like this I know all kids are different but really??? Kaleb my 2 yr.old bangs his head in the floor bites his self, pulls his hair screams ect. I could go on with this if I spank him it really makes things worse so I don't....I can put him in his room and he carries on throwing things, he'll even go without eating when he is mad....I am a stay at home mom and I feel like I can't get anything done because I have to stop and check on him to make sure he isn't really hurt....He just got eye glasses to correct his eye from crossing and I can't even get him to wear them because it makes hm mad if I try to put them on what should I do please help me!!!

Yes I know what you are saying about the glasses and I do agree with you on that but he has had them for a month now he will not let me put them on and if he does it is only for about 15 minutes on the other hand when my husband puts them on him he keeps them on all day, I am begaining to think he just doesn't want me to put them on him or I let him get away with more idk.....But no I haven't mocked him on the kicking and screaming but I have acted like I was crying while he was he did stop for a while but them for about a week he just went around doing this fack crying thing now I could handle that but just out of no where he has these rage fits and it can go on for hours at a time...thanks for your help I will try and see if it works..

I do know that when I get a new pair of glasses, my eyes hurt for a day or two until they adjust to the new lens strength. His fits while he wears the glasses could be that result. He hurts and does not know why, so he throws that fit.

Other times, well, because he is 2 I have no idea. My kids had a few melt downs but not to your child's extremes.

Have you tried to copy his actions when he does have a fit? Just to let him see how crazy it looks.

Good luck.
