I used to roll up a wet washcloth and put it in the freezer fro 10 monutes and then give it to my kids to chew on.

It sounds strange, but the one thing that helped my sister when her twin boys were younger was nipple number. She would rub it on the boys' gums and it would help ease the pain. It doesn't take a lot either. Just a small drop would work. My sister got her stuff from a Passion Party that she went to.

Another thing that could help is biter biscuits, which you can find at Wal Mart. They are messy as hell but they will help some of the time.
