I know a web site that researches deeply in the work from home jobs that are advertised out there. It is ratracerebellion.com. They post work from home jobs often, check it out.

Ideas: babysit, make and sell crafts, sew and sell cornhole bags or clothing, buy and sell on Ebay, sell something such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Avon, stuffed animals, etc.

Basically, if you want something legit, you are still going to have to work for it, evenif you are doing it from your home...

Most legitimate companies do not ask you for money! I sell Avon and it was only $5.00 to join and start my business.

1st thing i have to say reading through all these..i'm really upset by the lady who suggested foster care. i'm sorry, but i' grew up in the system and really resented being a "paycheck" for someone. So, DO NOT do foster care if it's just for the money. besides it's not consistent cause u most likely won't keep the kid anyway---long term. it's a bigger commitment--more then the money is worth. just had to get that off my chest.

2nd. for work-- i've looked into some things, but never followed through---

www.arise.com--a girlfriend of mine works for them, says it's pretty easy. she also does Arbonne.

personally, i'm working on graduating for medical transcription--it's a good job, once you get the qualifications.

visit: www.careerstep.com if you're interested.

For mystery shopping, google MSPA - it's a mystery shopping providers assoc. All of it is legit, and I've never paid a dime. It doesn't make you rich, but you'll make as little or as much as you have time for.

I tried the mystry shopper thing. if your into fine details and don't mind setting of alarms it might work. I also signed up for a shopping thing where you scan everything you buy- it was just to much "work". So I'm still looking too....

Hi Grace.  My sister just got a stay at home job working for 1-800-Flowers.  It's like she is working at a call center from home.  They downloaded their stuff to her computer, set her up with a head set, and she takes orders from home for the company.  She just went full time, but they have great part-time hours as well as seasonal. I believe she saw the ad at the website, but not positive.

There are some great books at Barnes & Noble that address this very issue. The one I read suggested that you find your passion and then turn that into money. So, for example, if you like to sew or bake or make a type of craft or whatever, the book gives you ideas on how to run that type of business from home.

Hi Grace. I am a stay at home mom that does Pampered Chef. I love it and it does bring in a great deal of money. I have been doing it for 2+ years and don't do many outside parties. I take catalog orders and website orders. I have totally restocked my kitchen with pans, stoneware and other kitchen items. I have not been on any trips nor do I care to go that far at this point in my life. However; what I do care about is helping my family and I feel that this works for the whole family not just me. I help by stocking our kitchen with quality products and getting paid to do it at my own pace. I have had a lot of tramua in my life with the life losses of many family members. It is important for me to stay home with my family and help when I can with my Pampered Chef money. Let me know if you want more information.

There are a few places where you can fill out surveys and get $$$ for doing it, though the legit ones are few and far between. My friend does some of them and that's how she did her Christmas shopping for her 4 kids this year. She also does medical transcription from home.
