I need to know the best way to switch my daughter from formula to regular milk, any suggestions?

My daughter turned 1 April 28th and we have been trying to wing her off of formula slowly mixing it half and half with low fat milk. How long should we be doing this? Every time I try and give her a whole milk bottle it gives her the craps.

If it gives her the craps, she may not be ready for whole milk. I had the same experience with my son. You may want to keep her on formula for a little longer.

Or, you could try soy milk instead of cows' milk. That's what I did, and it worked out well. After he was about 16 months old, I was able to switch him to cows' milk.

Ahhh, gotcha! I'd say just keep trying with her, maybe instead of half and half give her a little more milk than formula for a week, and just keep adding more and more milk until it's just milk. My daughter refuses to drink her milk until it's not too cold and not too warm :P So you just gotta find what's right for you little one

Hey Kim my daughters doctor suggested it because she has had some tummy issues.

It took me about 2 months in total to wean my daughter onto cows milk. I started off with just 2oz milk to 6oz formula and slowly went up on the oz of milk and down on the oz of formula until it was all milk. She had no problems with it. Just out of curiosity...why are you giving her low fat milk? It's recommended you give whole milk until they're 2.
