Hello. My boyfriend and I are expecting a baby boy, we are due the beginning of July and STILL DONT have a name picked out. This is MY first born child, but he has two sons that we have full custody of. Their names are Kobe Ray Arevalo and Payton Taylor Arevalo. We had a girls name picked out that we BOTH just LOVED so much, but then found out we were having a boy, and we cannot agree on a name for the life of us. Please help!

Maybe search on the internet, you can find long lists of names.Maybe a name will stick out that you both like.Good luck and dont stress to much,i know its difficult choosing a name..we had lots of nice names but also lots of reasons why we decided not to use them.I think i was about 7months pregnant when we finaly remembered a name we once said if we ever have a boy we will name him that.

Haha SL, thats funny the sports theme, my boyfriends favorite teams are the OPPOSITE of the other two boy's names. He actually LOATHES Kobe Bryant and he loathes Peyton Manning. He's a die hard Celtics fan, which Celtics and Lakers are rivals and hes also a DIE HARD Seahawks fan, which only means one thing, he HATES Peyton Manning after this years super bowl. So I am trying to gear away from sports teams, my ENTIRE family wants me to name him Russell after Russell Wilson, and I considered naming him Tate, but Gerald, the dad, doesnt like Tate, and I dont like Russell.. so I decided fine no sports names!

And, in addition to what LM said, don't stress too much.

Hubby & I had both boy and girl names chosen for our first, but when it came time to name the second, we couldn't come up with a boy's name that wouldn't piss off one of our grandfathers. (We wanted to name him after both of our grandfathers, but neither of them liked their names, so didn't want us to 'saddle' a kid with them)

We actually picked a name about 5 minutes before the boy arrived. It fits him, it's a unique name in the family, although a pretty plain name otherwise.

In other words...You'll find one. It may not even be one of the ones that you're already considering...but I'm seeing a sports related theme here...Kobe, Peyton...With my sense of humour, I'd choose something like Dimagio Aaron!

Good luck, hon!

What names do you have on each of your lists? I would narrow it down to 2 per person, and each of you pick your favorite. When the baby is born, maybe one name will fit more than the other.
