I just got my son back about 2 years ago. He was living with his grandparents they never had him in sports. I have had him in guitar class, chess class, swimming, art and now baseball. This something he wanted to do.My husband and I signed him up. Ok now these kids on his team been playing since they were maybe 4 years old they are very competitive. My son has ADHD he takes two pills in the morning (concerta) he can't focus or concentrate without them, so by the time the day is over homework is done it's late and it's game time his pill wears off. What can I do? I know this is just a game to have fun but he came home crying because he doesn't understand the game as well as these kids that been playing for years.I'm thinking about putting him in baseball camp over spring break to help him catch the ball and hit. I don't make him do any thing he doesn't want to but I can't just let him give up. He is so nerves and confused out in the field. I just wanted to share this story! If anyone can relate or has advise please share your thoughts good or bad I would like to hear them...

I think baseball camp is an excellent idea. Also, if you feel he needs his meds adjusted, talk with his doctor.
