Hi everyone I am a first time mom, I have a beautiful baby girl..but she just refuses to nurse from me since she was 6weeks after she got her first injection..I tried getting her to drink but she screams and cries every time I bring her close to my breasts. She is 9 weeks now, and I am returning back to work day after tomorrow.. I will only be working for a month..what can I do to get her back to the breast?

I gave her formula at night and she would nurse during the day, since she was 2weeks old, because I barely had milk in my breasts. I pump and give formula at the moment, am struggling a bit with my supply but i am drinking fenugreek and Brewer's yeast to help with that..

This may have started with nipple confusion, and now has progressed to her not wanting to nurse but wanting the bottle. Which makes sense as the sucking for your breast is very different that the bottle and requires more energy. Was she EBF until 6 weeks or supplemented? Are you pumping or formula feeding? Trying to get a 9 week sold back on the breast is tricky but not impossible. What do you want to do? She is going to be just fine no matter how she is nourished. So consider what you'd like to see play out and I can try to give you some ideas.

I'm not sure if she actually nursed but in week 7 she would keep the nipple in her mouth and have a couple of sucks then start crying.. Last week she totally refused again and this week she just licked it once

Ha she nursed at all in three weeks? If she has been bottle fed, then she is not on strike anymore, just refusing the breast. She may not have felt well after that vaccination and that could have started a nursing strike, but it would have lasted a few days.
