Hi, my name is Amanda, I'm 26 and trying to get pregnant for the first time, I have been off the pill or 6 months, and my ob told me I am ovulating and everything is good. My periods are regular, I just don't understand why I'm having a hard time getting pregnant. Everyone is telling me I need to calm down and not worry.. That's a little hard for me... Anyone have any advice besides that? :)

I guess I am just frustrated, I am not a patient person what so ever and when I want something, I want it now.. So waiting this long I am running out of patients! :) but thank you, I am not a religious person but I think I am just going to pray about it and pray he gives me some peace and I relax... It's so hard though.. :(

That's actually the best advice really. The more stress you are in, the more stressed out your body will be and it will affect you getting pregnant. But besides that, I would focus on when your ovulation period is. Just keep track of those days. Maybe try not having sex for a while (I have heard the more sex you have, the lower the sperm count will be) and only have sex on those days that you are supposed to be ovulating. That's about all I can really tell you. Both of my pregnancies were more off oopsies than on purpose so in reality, I'm not really sure what to tell you besides that.
