Yeah, I must admit, I read it that you were wanting to breastfeed. If you are wanting to stop, you shouldn't need medication. I never did. I don't know anyone who did. Do it as Dove said and you should be fine.

Do you mean you are planning to STOP breastfeeding? If so, just wean slowly and there should be no engorgement. If you start to get uncomfortably full you hand express just enough to take the edge off. Weaning slowly is really the best way for you and your little one.

Dear: Thank you for response. Let me ellaborate my concern. I'm breast feeding for nearly 24 months as my baby is getting two on Jan 25 i'm planning BF. So do i need to take medication to prevent engorgement??? Thank you for your cooperation. Halima

So you haven't had the baby yet? You've only made plans? Don't take any medication unless it turns out you need to. At this point you need to just see what happens.
