Hopefully you don't mean while you've got LO latched...
Otherwise, as long as your OB has released you (post partum, usually around 6 weeks after birth), it's fine. Just use contraceptives so you don't get pregnant again too soon

You can begin having sex as soon as your doctor give you the okay, usually 6 weeks after the birth. The method you choose for feeding after that point should have no effect on whether or not your body can handle sex.
That said, there is an old wives tale that you cannot get pregnant while breastfeeding. That is untrue! You CAN become pregnant if you have unprotected sex while breastfeeding. You can become pregnant if your protection fails as well--pretty much, it is just like having sex when you are not breastfeeding.
