In general, it's healthy to go twelve or so hours without eating at night. If she's still nursing though, it's fine to breastfeed at night. And if she has a medical condition it may be necessary to feed her at night. It really depends on your situation. Most of the time though you don't want to prepare a meal for a toddler at midnight if they wake up.
