I want to take admission for my 2.8 years old kid. I stay in Versova Mumbai. Searching around for a good pre school. Do the expensive pre schools benefit the child? or any decent preschool will also be fine? Need suggestions from experienced moms.

I am not sure where you are from but a lot of the time just because a preschool has a big price tag, it does not mean its the best in the world for your child. You need to get out there and search each preschool from the high end to the low end of prices and ask questions about child to adult ratio, routines, expectations of the parents by the school and what the school will do for the parents and child, how long they have been established, what parents who have kids there think of it, how much experience the teachers/aids have and what kind of education they have and if background checks on staff is done, if they serve meals and snacks or if you have to provide that for your child, how they handle kids who hurt other kids and what they do to remedy the situation, what kind of curriculum is offered, and most importantly if the school seems like a fit for your child. The more expensive a school is does not get it credibility. You should look to see what accreditation that they have and from whom. You also need to be able to afford that price tag if you are all about expensive schools and its not worth giving up things just to be in that school. Some low priced schools are just as good if not better than the expensive ones and can give your child just as good an experience as the expensive schools would. Its not about the school itself, its name and how much you spend for your child to go there, its about the best possible care and peace of mind as a parent.
