Hello moms of the world!
I am currently pregnant with my second child and I have a lovely 2 year old daughter sleeping right now. I have struggled so much with being a working mother even though I actually like my job. I am currently a high school Social Studies teacher in a great community. However, it is has been and still is complete TORTURE to leave my daughter with someone else for 50+ hours a week, while I go to work. Now that I am having a second child (I am relatively early in my pregnancy), I really want to try to figure out anything and everything I could possibly do to make enough money to survive in one of the most expensive areas of the country (we live just south of San Francisco). I know that teaching will always be there for me and I'll be happy to go back to it, just after my youngest child hits kindergarten!
I'm smart! I have a Master's degree in International Relations and did a lot of my studies on nonprofit creation, and I'm very personal (worked in restaurants for years). I'm not very crafty unfortunately, but I am sure I can figure out something! Any ideas on money making from smart, educated moms out there?!
