Adrienna, My daughter was born a few months ahead of her aunt and one uncle's graduation. She did not even know what was what but she was there for their graduations. I had another thought, maybe you would be blessed to be able to graduate that day and then later give birth to your daughter. :):)

I can understand the frustration of being near the end of pregnancy and wanting the baby out. I felt tired all the time and heavy laden with the weight of my babies both times. And I wanted my body back! But your baby and body are going to decide when it goes into labor and the baby is born. There are lots of old wives' tales or cures as they are called to get the labor started and I would not suggest them because it still might be too soon for baby, could cause some sort of distress or issues you do not want on top of giving birth, or may do nothing at all. If your doctor/s are not worried about you not having gone into labor then do not worry about it. I can also understand the want to have your child there when you graduate but seriously, she will still be there if she is not born and its not like she is going to know what is going on. Just be glad that you have a healthy baby and the baby has good start, that you come out of labor and delivery with no major issues, and that you graduated!! That is a big feat along with being pregnant. Congrats on both!!
