I was wondering what is the difference between organic baby food vs. normal baby food and which one is better?

Charlie, organic has nothing to do with the sugars. They don't generally add sugar to normal baby food either. Organic is actually about the chemicals. Produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals.

I agree that you are better off making your own baby food.

If you want to give your baby the best then make it yourself. As long as you have a blender you can make your own baby food. That way you know exactly what's in it.

ETA: Also be careful about what's labeled "organic" as it could just be the ingredients and can have just as many preservatives as the others. You need to read the labels carefully.

Organic is better hands down, the sugars in "normal" baby food will be on the norm higher and not the type of sugars "processed" you want on your babies gums. Go Green!
