Hey Everyone!

I really need some help!

I have a 18month old toddler, for some reason she wont sleep in her own room. (She use to, I am having problems at home) She wont even play in there during the day and dont understand why. She done this before and I found out that she wanted a duvet and pillow. Has anyone got any ideas on what i can do? I cant do the crying method as she just makes herself sick and my Partner gives in.

Start a bedtime routine that will help her become comfortable in her room. For example sit in there with the lights dimmed or completely off, sit in a rocking chair with her and talk to her in a soothing voice. Also read her a book that you know she likes. When your done play her some children friendly music that sounds relaxing. Wait a couple of minutes and then put her in her bed or crib and continue with her music. You can also rub her back a little if she looks a little tense. Keep doing this over and over again for at least a week and it should work. Good luck!
