My son is two, and he is extremely strong willed. Potty training has not been going well. I have tried keeping him in underwear all day but that doesn't work, he will pull them down and pee every where but the toilet. When I have him naked all day, he doesn't hesitate to pee on the floor. I ask him every 15 minutes if he has to go pee or poop and he always tells me no. If I do take him to the potty he sits there for 20 minutes without doing anything, then as soon as I take him off, he pees. Please help!

He shows signs, but I'm thinking that the problem is that he doesnt really know when he has to pee. He has pooped in the potty twice, but peeing is really hard for him to manage. Guess I will just wait till his body is ready....

Unless he is showing signs of being ready like asking to go, telling you he needs to go or has done the deeds of peeing or pooping in his pants, showing interest in the potty and even trying it out, then he is not ready to potty train. Most boys do not show real interest until nearly 3 years old. And also keep in mind his body may not be ready yet to train. His organs and muscles that are used to do this are still growing and developing.
