My son is currently with his father (hopefully for a very short period) His IEP states that he is to be in extended school (he has Downs). My husband has registered him and no school records have been requested. Who do I report this to??

Well, it could be problematic. Is the order a physician's order, or an individualized education plan set up by your son's school? If it is, it is generally only for one district, and may need to be requested for both parents.

I guess, call...but I'm not sure where to tell you to start!

Quiz your attorney. If he/she is not the correct person, they should at least have a direction in which to start.

Sorry, I meant to say that my soon to be ex-husband has NOT registered him in school. He has not requested a records transfer either. Long story, but I really need help

Contact the school where your husband registered him and ask if you need to facilitate a records transfer.
