I had blue eyes as a child and mine turned during 4th/5th grade. All of my children were born with blue eyes, three-2 girls and 1 boy, and only one still has blue eyes at the age of 13. The other two changed during their elementary school time.

I dont think there is a good rule for this one, my eyes change depending on what I am wearing, their blue but take on different shades as do most of my sibblings. One sister has green eyes but when she is mad, they get like cat green, its freaky. Hope your getting good pictures of the changes ;-)

I was told if the babies eyes were still blue approx 2 weeeks after birth that they would stay blue but my sons eyes have recently in the last 6 months changed to a greeny grey colour and he is now 2 yrs + 9 mnths.

My son was born with what I call "murky blue" eyes and they turned brown when he was four. Coincidentally, I was born with hazel eyes and they turned brown when I was four. My twin girls were born with baby blue eyes and blonde hair and they have not changed and they are now almost seven.

I have twin boys and they had dark navy blue eyes until they were 2. There eyes then changed to dark brown, they are now nearly 8 and their eye's are now changing to hazel green. I think it depends on the individual, no child does everything by the book.
