If I gained practically no weight during my pregnancy, does that mean I could end up significantly lower than my starting weight??

I started off a little overweight: 5'8 @ 175lbs.

I'm 35 weeks and weigh right at 175 now. I lost a lot of weight at the beginning and got sick recently.

(I've had two other children before both at 38 weeks)

SO!! Does this mean I could potentially end up a good bit lower than my starting weight? (I hope so!)

I'm planning on breastfeeding.

I did. My net gain with my daughter was -1 lb and I had no gain with my son. After 2 weeks postpartum, when all of the water weight is gone, I was down by 15lbs with my daughter. After my son, I was down 20.

I gained the weight back when my daughter was around 4 months old. I'm not sure why though, chances are it was a hormone thing. My son is now a year and I'm down 25 lbs.

Just don't expect to see the scale drop until at least 2 weeks postpartum. It can take more. There is a lot of weight that comes off with the bleeding and as the uterus contracts back down.
