Are you paying rent and utilities while you are there? If so, then yes I think he should, but if you aren't, then no he shouldn't have to. It isn't his job to fully support you and his child, only to contribute to HALF of the cost of raising the child. If you aren't paying any rent or utilities, then that's a level of support, and I would put money on it he could argue that successfully in court.

Oh, I understand you pay food, etc. But it isn't your ex's role to actually pay 100% of your costs. So what you need to know is how much the rent is worth. Just remember you are BOTH getting free rent. He is only obligated to support his child. And 50% at that. He isn't obligated to support you. I am assuming he rents? How much does he pay in rent? You should be paying at least half of his rent. So do a deal with him. He pay you child support. You will pay half the rent. Problem solved.

So he's threatening to take your kids away because you are in a relationship with another woman, but you're living with him and still wanting child support.... My head is spinning today.

I'm not sure where you are from but I know in the state of Mississippi if you are living with the father of your child, you are not supposed to be receiving child support. I found that out the hard way when my daughter's father and I went to file for child support to make things easier for us. We ended up getting married anyways but that's beside the point.
