This is my fourth pregnancy and my three previous pregnancy ended in planned c-sections. I have never experienced labor, but I want to have a natural birth with my last baby. Should I expect my body to react like what is generally described for first timers, or like a woman's body who has had previous births?

First time, second time, whatever, they are all different. You shouldn't have any particular expectations, because it is different for everyone. Some would say mine was really easy for a first when I had my oldest. I think it is more the actual birth than the labour that you should treat as your first (the pushing part).

I am surprised your doctor is allowing you a natural birth after 3 c-sections. Generally that would be a big no-no.

Honestly with labor, you never know what to expect lol. I thought that if you had c sections the doctors forced you to have them every following time? if not I'd say, expect it to be painful but wonderful like every type of delivery. Since you've never pushed a baby out "down there" then I would think that it would be like the first time there because your body has never had to stretch or change in that way before. You may have to get cut so that you don't tear if it's your first time.
