Number one thing she deserves is to be safe. A women's shelter would be a safer place than a home where her mom is getting beat on. I'm not saying LIVE in the shelter... just use it go get OUT of that house first.

I was in your situation a few years ago. My now ex husband was in the military and we lived around all his friends. I was pregnant and already had a 18 month old. Had no phone, no internet, no cable, nothing. He was verbally and physically abusive to me and verbally abusive to my daughter and my son when he was born. I have never felt so alone and just didn't know where to go the few times I reported it made matters worse. He kept me as a stay at home mom so I had no income and no where to go. What wad worse is trying to get up as early as possible on pay day to pay all the bills before he spent all the money on video games, cigarettes, and beer. I stayed to long, one day he put his hands on my daughter. I will never forgive myself for that. After that I went to the public library where there is internet emailed my family who helped get us home safely. Then I had to wait a little over a year because of money and filed for divorce. My advice is leave after he goes to work if you can pull some money out and leave. Go to a pay phone or a store ask to use the phone call your dad see if he can help you get plane tickets or bus ticket. But leave before the abuse moves from you to your child. You can say he would never but I thought the same thing and my daughter is now six and still has issues from everything that happened. If If you need more advice or need to talk you can privately message me. Where there is a will there is a way.

Do you have any neighbors with a phone? With no car and no phone.... how do you plan to make arrangements to get to Florida in the first place? You have internet. You can google search the laws in your area. You HAVE options. You just have to figure out what those are and staying in a house where you are abused is NOT one of those options.

You really should've been reporting it. If there is no trail of evidence it's your word against his in that court room....

Granted, you need to get OUT and get out NOW. If there is no current custody order you most likely will not get in any trouble for taking her to Florida.

You can also go to the police station or a shelter if he's hitting you.

There ARE places to go and people to help you. Please do not stay in that house any longer.
