I wouldn't worry. With my first child I didn't start showing until 6 or 7. Enjoy it while you can. If your doctor isn't concerned then you shouldn't be. Assuming you are getting prenatal care.

It really has nothing to do with why you are not showing. Many first time moms don't show until five months or later. That is a good thing. Once you start showing, you will pop!

Best snacks are healthy snacks. Bananas especially for the potassium, and yogurt to have the extra calcium. Plenty of fruits and veggies. I wish I ate better during my pregnancies so I did not gain so much weight.

Mimie, there are women who don't show at all! One of my very good friends told me she was pregnant one day, and I congratulated her. A week later, I saw her again, this time with a newborn! So, I asked if I'd misheard her, perhaps she said she'd recently been pregnant, and I missed that?

No, she really HAD been pregnant when we were talking the week before. The baby was 3 days old the next time I saw her. She NEVER showed. She never changed pants sizes, unless it was maybe a size up. Never had the maternity shirts, or the boobs to go with. She just carried very, very small!

The baby was perfectly healthy, and is now about to graduate from HS in a few months.

If you doctor says everything is fine, and you feel fine, then don't worry! And congrats for having that body that is going to bounce back easier than most!

I, on the other hand was much like Michelle W...immediately ballooned several sizes, had my own "tray" for my dinner plate, etc...LOL

No worries, I wasn't showing until around 6 months or so. I just looked chunky for awhile lol. As long as your doc isn't concerned, than enjoy it! :)

when i was 5 months during my first pregnancy i barely showed... i am taller too, so the baby spread out more... but my doctor told me it is because my uterus is tighter than those who have had more than one baby, so you wont show as much during your first pregnancy. you should feel lucky that you don't show... and even still when i was 9 months pregnant some my mother told me that if you saw me from the back, you wouldn't think i was pregnant... until i turned around... it was like i had a basket ball under my shirt...or maybe a soccer ball..... but my baby was 8lbs and 13 oz.... a big healthy baby!

You must be one of the lucky ones that have a nice little baby bump. I on the other hand burst out as soon as I fell pregnant and had to have my dinner plate on my stomach because I couldn't sit close enough to the table to eat. My belly was almost to my knees when I sat down and I only ever had 1 baby at a time!!!!

All I can say is be thankful because it's soooooooo uncomfortable being huge. You'll also more than likely "pop out" in the last month or so.
