Thanks so much, I do thank god everyday for my many blessings, I just feel like I’m just never going to get ahead in life i keep having to stay on guard cause of my kids father and no one knowing where he is I get no help there, i just want to provide a safe and happy home for my babies without having to constantly worrying about bills, and there father. I know that’s life but I can’t keep depending on others to help me, I’m trying to be able to do it on my own. I just need a hand up not a hand out and the government people all seem to think I just want to sit on my butt and do nothing and just collect, I just need a push to get started and do this all on my own the way I should be, the support from others shouldn’t be financial support. But I have faith in god and he will help me through this I don’t have faith in our government and who they actually are out to help.

God will never give you more than you can bear. Don't beg him and start thanking him for what you do have.

With that being said, prioritize the things you want. Realize that this stuff is called assistance and not crutch. If you know that is not were you want to be or stay then do everything you can to hurry up and get off. Then get organized get several copies of ss cards, proof of address, and so on. Also, save the last few bills for your utilities.

Unless there is a central office for all of these places, your foods tamps social worker should be able to point you in the right direction. But here are a few suggestions depending on your state HUD or the housing authority can help with your rent. Your power company should be able to tell you in which way you can go for assistance there. I have known some people to even get assistance with getting a car as well.

Consider picking up a trade such as nursing, or phlebotomy or whatever you like if you are going back to school and apply for the trade scholarship that way you can go to school for a shorter period and make pretty decent money when you come out. Sometimes they do work-study/ co-op programs where you can work and have school credit simultaneously.

You can receive an "ABC" voucher/ child development resources that significantly reduces the amount you pay for daycare. Also, there is the Head Start program that allows children to go to preschool for free. Just remember you have to show proof of a bunch of stuff. Also, if you are put on a wait list consider a neighbor or family member, and do "trades" instead of money.

I know the hoops are tedious and the people there treat you like a number and not a person but know someone is out there is praying for you. Trust me I have been there ♥
