My Childs father and I have never been in a relationship we had been friends for about 5yrs before we had our daughter, through out that time we began having deeper feelings for each other, Ive always loved him but long story short he was the only man that's ever been there for me,only man I ever loved he told me for years he wanted our family to work and I believed him. I gave him my all I gave him time to be ready for a family when up until a month ago I found out he's had a girl friend for two yrs I new nothing as about! They live together so my baby has been around a woman I know nothing about for two yrs..I haven't talked to him in weeks and now Im debating if I'll ever talk to him again I want to get myself strong enough to deal with the situation befor she goes back over there..Im tired of arguing and crying and feeling hurt I don't want him I just dont want to hurt any More and move on!!!

Hey, I understand completely, Chanel, and you shouldn't stay in a situation where you're not appreciated nor loved fully. You need to move on from him for YOU to be happy and healthy.

Its just that so many times, mommas will do this (what they need to do for themselves) and just take baby with them, with no regards for the other party in that respect. Sounds like you're going to be fine, though. Like I said, make sure support is court ordered, so that you have that coming in.

Then get paternity firmly established, and get court orders in place for support and custody.

You may be done, but that doesn't mean that your daughter shouldn't know her father. Whether you want to associate with him or not is your business, but you created that child together, and he's got as much right to be a parent as you do. Please don't take that from her.
